This timepiece pays tribute to the captivating mechanical designs of the past while incorporating cutting-edge innovations. Very few watches use the barrel mechanism to display the time, and Vortichron is one of the rare few to have done so. It is a stunning and rare watch that few of us have ever seen. It features a double barrel complication, powered by a Japanese Miyota automatic movement, modified for the occasion by Vortichron, offering a 42-hour power reserve. Its semi-skeleton dial, available in various colors, reveals part of the movement through a small window, bringing the barrels to life. The caseback is transparent, allowing one to admire the automatic movement. The case, available in silver stainless steel or black DLC, houses a double-domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating. Thanks to Swiss Superluminova luminous paint applied to the indices and numbers, their visibility is unmatched in all lighting conditions, without relying on external light sources. Advanced light absorption and long-lasting phosphorescence ensure constant visibility throughout the night. To complete the look, the watch is fitted with an leather strap, equipped with a stainless steel deployant clasp.
